Our day begins with a visit to our favorite Amish Restaurant in Sarasota, Der Dutchman. Lunch is served family style and will include: broasted chicken and roast beef, served with mashed potatoes, dressing, green beans and salad. Plus, choice of homemade pie for dessert.
After lunch we will travel a few minutes to spend the afternoon at the Big Cat Habitat.
The Big Cat Habitat and Gulf Coast Sanctuary is a 501c3 Non Profit dedicated to providing a safe, loving and permanent home for exotic and domestic animals in need. The habitat is home to over 50 Big Cats, including Lions, Tigers, Cougars, Ligers and Servals, along with an assortment of other animals, including, but not limited to, Bears, Primates, Emus, Camels, exotic Birds, Goats, Tortoises and much much more. 2 demonstrations are given daily in our air conditioned arena, a 1pm Birds in Paradise Demo and a 2pm Mixed Animal demo.The cost of this trip is $97.00 per person. Trip price includes motorcoach, attractions listed, lunch and gratuities.
