Enjoy lunch at Amelia’s Restaurant in Gainesville, lunch choices are: Chicken Caesar Salad - romaine lettuce tossed with our Caesar dressing, parmesan cheese, house-made croutons, and grilled chicken; Eggplant Parmesan - thin-sliced eggplant layered and baked with house red sauce, parmesan, and mozzarella cheeses; Ravioli Florentine – cheese-filled ravioli tossed with garlic, diced tomatoes, basil, parmesan cheese, and fresh spinach; Chicken Marsala – pan seared chicken with mushrooms & marsala wine sauce. Tiramisu – espresso dipped ladyfingers layered with sweetened mascarpone and cocoa. Please make your selection at time of reservation.

Then, come face to face with exotic, vibrant butterflies fluttering atop a lush tropical canvas of foliage and flowers and experience the Butterfly Rainforest, the Florida Museum’s newest permanent exhibit. The Butterfly Rainforest contains an average of 55 to 65 butterfly species at any one time with hundreds of free-flying butterflies. An experienced scientist will conduct a tour of this magnificent exhibit.

Also on today’s agenda is a stroll through the Florida Museum of Natural History located at the University of Florida. This museum focuses on the flora, fauna, fossils and historic peoples of the state Florida.

We will depart from the Casselberry Women’s Club located at 251 Overbrook Dr. in Casselberry at 9:30 a.m. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure.
