Begin the day in Tampa with an early lunch at the Spaghetti Warehouse. Opened in 1983, the Spaghetti Warehouse continues to be one of Tampa’s most popular destinations. Lunch selections are as follows: spaghetti with meatballs; incredible 15-layer lasagna; four-cheese manicotti; fettuccini alfredo; grilled chicken Caesar salad; or pesto spaghetti basilica (basil pesto sauce tossed with pasta, grilled zucchini, fresh grape tomatoes and topped with Pecorino Romano cheese). Plus small dessert and iced tea or soft drink. Please make your lunch selection at time of reservation.
Then visit Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo. The Zoo features 56 acres of lush, natural habitats comprising the following main exhibit areas: Asian Domain, Primate World, Manatee and Aquatic Center, Florida Wildlife Center, Free-Flight Aviary and the new Safari Africa. The zoo’s natural outdoor exhibits house more than 1,500 animals from Florida and similar habitats. A nonprofit charitable organization, the zoo also exists as a center for conservation of endangered wildlife both locally and around the globe.
